Creamy chocolate ice cream – a recipe

Hello, everybody!

Today, a famous weather forecaster has said that it is going to be as hot as in a furnance! I kept it in my mind and I made a decision to arrange for those sweltering African heats! As far as my holiday preparations are concerned, I intend to partage with you a creamy and undeniabaly tender ice cream recipe. I must admit that I have always served this snack on holidays since I discovered this recipe by mistake! I remember that I wanted to eat something bitterly cold and I just mixed a few ingredients (without measuring them) I had in my kitchen. So, that signifies the cooking directions are extremely facile and you’ll need only several products, which are usually in everyone’s house!

Get to know with my delicious eating description and hurry up to the kitchen! You won’t regret it… Especially today, when the temperatures are to soar up to 38 Celsius degrees!

Chocolate ice cream

  • 300g bitter dark chocolate
  • 100g sweet dessert chocolate
  • 400g condensed milk
  • 500ml double cream

First, prepare a small pot. Pour condensed milk into the jug. Heat the oven and place the saucepan onto the small heat. Don’t let it boil! The milk must be warm but not boiling hot. In the meantime, take a small bowl. Chop the chocolate and put the small pieces into the bowl. Add warm milk to the bowl with chocolate scraps. Let the milk melt the chocolate for a while. Stir the mixture until it smooths. Put the bowl aside and let it cool. Pour the cold double cream into another bowl and whip it. Mix the whipped double cream with chocolate. Pour the mixture into a small plastic container. Place it in the freezer for 3-4 hours or overnight.

Chocolate ice cream – my healthy way

  • 1 banana, peeled, frozen
  • 200g natural yoghurt
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp nuts
  • fruits* (optional)

Take a small bowl. Mix natural yoghurt with cocoa powder and some favourite nuts. You may add almonds, peanuts or sunflower seeds. Put a frozen banana into the bowl. Use blender to keep the mixture smooth and creamy.

Serve it with some cocoa powder sprinkled on the top or with your favourite fruits, for instance, blueberries, strawberries, or even cherries.
