Strawberry and spinach salad – a facile Australian snack recipe
Hello my bloggers!
What are you up to?
It’s a middle of June. As you may get wind, this month is a period when strawberries become more popular and easy-to-get in Poland. I came up with an idea to share with you a typical Australian recipe with this fresh fruit. On account of the fact that you need only several products, this meal is well-balanced, encastled, healthy and you may use it as a side-dish for dinner or as an evening snack. To make it, you’ll need less than 10 minutes and your stomach will be really filled. I strongly guess you’ll have pleasure of reading and you intend to try my cooking idea!
Strawberry and spinach salad
- 6 handfuls fresh spinach leaves, torned
- 4 handfuls fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tablespoons favourite seeds or nuts (seasme, cashew, almonds)
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped tomato
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoon wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 garlic clove, mashed
Take a small bowl. Pour olive oil, wine vinegar into the jug. Add mustard, mashed garlic clove, salt, pepper and sugar. Stir until well-combined. Leave the sauce for a moment. Prepare a large bowl. Mix torned spinach leaves, sliced strawberries, chopped onion and tomato. Add the sauce mixture into the vegetables. Mix it gently.
Serve with your favourite seeds or nuts sprinkled on the top.
